My professional status: contractor at CWA New Media
Website client: Chatham Island Millennium Committee
Dates: March - July 1999

Brief: to develop the design and build a website following the prototype Photoshop design already created. This website provided information about the Chatham Islands' millennium celebrations.
My responsibilities included:
- Development of initial front page prototype from existing Photoshop mockup to finished graphics
- Creation and development of graphic design for the rest of the site
- Building site (navigation, architecture, graphics, HTML, Bryce animation, JavaScript)
- Ongoing consultation with clients and project management.
This site needed to be dramatic, exciting and eye-catching - as the Millennium Committee used it to "catch" sponsors for their millennium events. The colours reflect the dawn of a new century, exemplified by the sunrise animation on the homepage. I taught myself to use Bryce 3D animation software for this project.
