Brief: to advise the designer on the best way to design for the web and then to build the Chef Search website.

My responsibilities included:

  • Helping the designer to create the best design for the web
  • Building the website - architecture, HTML templates, graphics, JavaScript, CSS
  • Using the templates to build the individual pages and then content-loading the whole site
  • Checking and testing all links sitewide to ensure I had coded them correctly
  • Proofreading the site to ensure I had content-loaded it correctly.

A straightforward, information-rich site, with large pages of content which needed to be laid out clearly.
