Brief: to design a tui character for the Karori Garden Centre website, and to animate it in Flash to act as a guide around the site.
My responsibilities included:
- Designing and drawing the tui character in Freehand
- Creating a set of Flash animations where the tui hops, speaks and swings from a branch.
The tui was an integral part of the Karori Garden Centre website and pointed out interesting areas of the site for visitors. My design needed to be simple, easy to animate and effective at a range of sizes and in a variety of locations on the website.
