Brief: to build a website following the design already created in Fireworks. This website was aimed at children, and taught them to stay away from the dangers of train tracks.
My responsibilities included:
- Development of initial front page from existing Fireworks mockup to finished graphics
- Creation and development of graphic design for the rest of the site
- Building site (navigation, architecture, graphics, HTML, frames, JavaScript, interactive quiz section)
- Ongoing consultation with clients.
The site had to be fun and funky, while communicating a serious message. As it was aimed at children, we included rollovers, animations and an interactive quiz. It was a fully "stretchable" site, with all boxed text elements stretching to fit browser text of all sizes.
